Raffle & Charity FAQ

This raffle is raising money for three different charities: the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the National Immigration Law Center, and World Central Kitchen.

Each of the tournament organizers who teamed up to put on CubeCon DMV selected a different charity to support. CubeCon chose the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the NYC Pauper League chose the National Immigration Law Center, and the DMV Legacy League chose World Central Kitchen.

There are three types of raffles: Uncommon, Rare, and Mythic. Each raffle tier contains exciting prizes at different entry costs. Uncommon raffles cost 3 Tix to enter, Rare raffles cost 7 Tix, and Mythic raffles cost 15 Tix. To enter a raffle, simply spend the required number of Tix.

You receive Tix by donating to any of the supported charities. Every $1 donated earns 1 Tix. Create an account on this website, log in, select your preferred charity, and you'll be directed to the corresponding Tiltify fundraiser. Complete your donation, and you'll receive Tix equal to the amount donated.

No. Your odds are the same regardless of which charity you choose to support. You may donate to one charity or multiple charities, and all Tix function identically.

Yes. There is no limit to the number of prizes a participant may win.

Winners will be announced in person at CubeCon DMV and posted to DMV Legacy League social media no later than Tuesday, July 14.

To donate raffle items, contact the DMV Legacy League at admin@dmvlegacyleague.com or visit the #league-help channel in our Discord. Donations must be received by July 8 to be included in the raffle.

Any Magic: The Gathering-related items are welcome. Popular donations include singles, memorabilia, and sealed product.

Please only donate items that you believe participants would be excited to win. Examples of items that are generally not desirable include heavily used playmats or deck boxes you no longer need, and miscellaneous bulk cards that would otherwise be given away.

Participation is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Entries are void where prohibited by law. Participants are responsible for ensuring their participation complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Organizers, employees, and individuals directly involved in administering the raffle may be restricted from participating or winning as described in the Official Rules.

Because raffle and charitable gaming laws vary by jurisdiction, participation may be restricted or prohibited in certain states, territories, or localities. Entries submitted from jurisdictions where the raffle would be unlawful are void. Participants are responsible for ensuring that participation is legal where they reside. Organizers reserve the right to reject or void entries that do not comply with applicable laws or the Official Rules. All donations are final and non-refundable, including in cases where an entry is later determined to be ineligible or void.
